Kaitlyn Murphy is originally from Arizona. She began dancing at the age of 2. She has experience in ballet, jazz, contemporary, modern, lyrical, tap, musical theatre, hip hop, and aerial dance. She currently attends the University of Central Oklahoma and is a senior working towards earning her B.F.A. In dance performance. While at UCO, she was on Kaleidoscope dance company for 2.5 years and had opportunities to perform and work with guest artists including Mike Esperanza, Tiffanie Carson, Jessie Zarrit,
Larry Kewigwin, and Alexander Olivieri. Outside of school, Kaitlyn is a teacher at Reclaiming Arts dance studio and Race dance collective where she teaches jazz, Contemperary, lyrical, hip hop, and aerial dance. She is also on staff with Gravit8 dance competition and The Dance Effect convention and competition, and loves traveling around the states to work, dance, and teach! She loves being a part of the TDE family and is excited for this season!
