The Dance Effect Competitions provide a unique, enjoyable, fair, and
positive experience for all participants. We are committed to ensuring that
every dancer feels valued, regardless of their skill level or the number of
routines they perform. TDE offers three levels of competition: Desire,
Ambition, and Legacy, as well as an Adaptive Dance level. Additionally, we
feature a Solo Motivational Title for soloists who wish to participate, along
with a Photogenic Contest and a Most Moving Costume Contest.
We offer a variety of exciting opportunities, including free Mini Master
Classes, Judges' Choice Awards, Improv Charity Dance-offs for anyone to
enter, participants, Sportsmanship Awards, and many others. At TDE
Nationals, we also present the prestigious Grand National Champion

At The Dance Effect, we take great pride in ensuring that the day is
centered around the dancers. That's why we created Move Across the
Floor: Freestyle. This exciting event takes place before the solo awards
ceremonies and gives participants the freedom to freestyle across the
stage! Dancers, teachers, siblings, and even dance dads are invited to join
in the fun. It's a favorite among all who attend TDE Competitions, and you
won’t want to miss it!
